Stargazers
Explore the Universe!
Inspire young astronomers with hands-on space science exploration designed for grades 6–10
Designed for students in grades 6–10, this three-week camp takes young astronomers on an immersive journey through the universe, from our solar system to the edge of the observable cosmos. Interactive simulations, planetarium software, virtual telescopes, and creative modeling projects make big ideas like black holes, dark matter, and the expanding universe accessible and exciting.
Each week builds on the last, beginning with our cosmic neighborhood and the life cycles of stars, moving into galaxies, black holes, and the nature of light, and culminating in the Big Bang, exotic cosmic phenomena, and future space missions. The program balances clear scientific explanations with hands-on exploration, encouraging curiosity, quantitative reasoning, and a lasting sense of wonder about our place in the cosmos.
